SLFO
SecondLife Friends Online
User guide
SLFO is a small Windows application that helps you
keep track of the online status of your Second Life Friends.
Instead of opening a browser and surfing to the
Friends Online page of the SecondLife web-site, SLFO keeps an
updated list somewhat similar to how MSN does.
The list displays your friends
status with three colors:
GREEN for friends that has
just logged in, BLACK
for friends that has been online for at least 5 minutes, and RED for friends that has
logged off within the last 5 minutes.
The list is updated every 5 minutes. Special
friends (see later) are marked with BOLD text, all others
in normal text.
SLFO will add a small icon to the System Tray. By
clicking this, you can popup/hide the main SLFO window.
By right-clicking the SLFO caption bar, you can access
the preferences and the help.
SLFO allows you to setup a list of special friends.
When anyone on this list logs in, you can make SLFO play a sound or popup the main
window.
Preferences should be pretty self-explanatory.
Select the options you want with the checkboxes, and add your special friends
to the Match List, one name on each line. Names are not case sensitive.
SLFO is a free program and you can use it for
whatever you want.
It’s also free as in FREE, but if you like SLFO, any in-world donations are always much appreciated.
Have fun.
